Juanita Taylor is an executive at Standard Bank of South Africa with deep expertise across securities financing, collateral management, and post-trade market infrastructure. She played a key role in building a cross–asset class Securities Finance trading desk at Standard Bank, enabling scalable, market-aligned solutions across securities lending, repo, and collateral optimisation. In her current role as a collateral trader, Juanita plays an integral role in initiatives that improve collateral velocity, optimise allocations, and support regulatory compliance in an increasingly margin-intensive environment.

She is a member of the SASLA Collateral Forum, where she contributes to cross-industry collaboration and regulatory engagement, focused on more efficient and resilient markets. Juanita has held several senior roles at Standard Bank, including Head of Custody, Head of Market Services, and Head of Securities Lending.

Beyond South Africa, she has supported the start-up of securities lending in Nigeria and worked with stakeholders across the continent to help shape their securities lending frameworks. She is passionate about finance and economics in developing and frontier markets.
